I did not know that birthday gal Ann Blyth was a spokesperson for Hostess in the seventies. She sure dresses up fancy to serve Ding Dongs to her kids. Happy Birthday Ms. Blyth!— Noir and Chick Flicks

It took me a moment to realize this isn’t a joke: there’s going to be a movie about Marilyn Monroe’s terrier starring Angelina Jolie and George Clooney (as Monroe and Frank Sinatra, who gave her the dog).— The Guardian

Review round-up:
The Bat (1926)
Youth Runs Wild (1944)

This is awful, but I do remember the commercials because there was a another take on it where you see the woman eat the ding dong, then she turns and she has a butt as big as a bus.

Poor Ann.

She did look gorgeous though. It's quite a feat to appear glamorous while saying "Ding-Dong" over and over.

I still can't believe that she appeared in that commercial for Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Pies.

I do wonder how this came to be. Were a bunch of ad guys sitting around a table saying--of course! You must hire Ann Blyth!

I've heard of movie stars taking on jobs just for the money, but this is ridiculous!
